Projects 2009 North East Arnhemland The Jack Thompson Foundation will continue to facilitate the on-going training and mentoring in Chainsaw Operation, Timber Felling, Milling and Basic Timber frame Construction. Garrathiya Cattle Station The Parole Workers Accommodation consisting of three buildings: sleeping, ablutions and a kitchen will be completed. A further two Houses for Traditional Owners and their families will be constructed. One house at Mata Mata and at Dhanaya, a Family and Women’s accommodation will be constructed.

Nhulunbuy
In 2008 a stockpile of cut logs was stored undercover in Nhulunbuy, East Arnhemland.
During the wet season, December to February, the trainees are continuing the saw milling operation and stockpiling the cut timbers in readiness for building further accommodation.
